Weight loss Entry #1

This will be the start of my weight loss journey.

If you missed my story, check it out here!

I will be doing weekly check-ins on here and and highlighting what went well and what didn’t go too well. I will also be posting articles, where I will go over topics that I believe will be beneficial for us to be successful. I will be as transparent with you guys as I can.

I took the pictures below last month when I was about 220 lbs. As you can see, there is a lot of work to be done:

Currently I am 215 lbs!

My workout routine:

Day 1: Chest, delts and abs.

Day 2: Triceps, biceps and forearms.

Day 3: Back and traps

Day 4: Legs and abs.

Day 5: Rest Day and then restart the cycle on day 6

For cardio, 3 out of the 4 days that I work out, I will either do the stair-master or treadmill until I reach 200 calories.

I track my macros when it comes to eating and change every 1.5 weeks if I see no changes. Currently my macros are:

Carbs: 255g                               Fats: 57g                                  Protein: 220g

My goal is to lose weight but at the same time retain most of my muscle mass. Also, I hope that in the process, I can help others reach their weight loss goals.

  2. I like your routine exercise. I think I might copy that one. I want to loose just a few pounds but my goal is to stay fit. Does that make sense?

    1. It definitely makes sense. For basic weight loss, as long as you decrease your calories and stay active, you should be fine. But stay tuned, ill be posting more valuable information.

  4. I haven’t been able to work out full strength like I want due to an ankle injury. I’m starting out with the exercise bike and working my way back to the treadmill. This is a great start! Good luck with your regimen interested to see your nutrition meal plan also 👍👍

    1. Injuries are bummers. I remember when I tore my ACL, I felt so useless. Any little bit helps 🙂 I am currently on putting a meal plan up on here. Don’t forget to follow, so you don’t miss anything important!

  5. This is very cool. And it’s definitely a different way to look at weight loss. I never thought of tracking grams of particular items in my foods. That’s awesome you lost 5 pounds though. Congrats.
