How To Lose 10 lbs in 3 days Using the Military Diet

So let’s say you are days away from getting married, going on vacation or just want to lose weight in a short period of time for whatever reason. Well, you have found the right place, because there is a diet that can help you lose 10 lbs in 3 days.

 

It is called the Military Diet!

 

This diet is basically 3 days of low-calorie intake followed by 4 days of regular eating. At that point, you can decide if you want to repeat the diet again or move on.

 

 

 

I have tried this in the past, and the results have been both positive and negative. Yes, you do lose a significant amount of weight (I lost 8 lbs). However, after about a week, I gained the weight back.

This can be due to a lot of factors such as:

  • Weight lost was only water
  • The body re-adjusts to the severe reduction in calories from the diet
  • Over-eating after the 3-day diet
  • Many more

This diet has its positives but there are also negatives such as:

  • If not done correctly, can do irreparable damage to the body
  • Energy will be very low
  • Can lose muscle mass in the process

 

 

 

 

 

So if you feel that you need a quick fix for an event coming up, go for it. But if you have time and want to do it the right way, I recommend sticking to a healthy balanced diet and exercising regularly. Also, I recommend consulting your doctor before trying, especially individuals with pre-existing conditions.
