Weight Loss Entry #3- Ray of Light?

Happy Monday Everybody!

Back to the work week, we go, but I thought I would take a little time and update my weight.

Last week, I ended at 215.4 lbs

Today, I woke up at 213.8

So, I lost 1.6 lbs!!!

What is even better, is that I am starting to see changes in my body physically. I will hopefully post an updated picture next week, so you guys can see the changes.

As far as my workout routine goes, it still remains the same:

Day 1 Day 2 Day 3 Day 4 Day 5 Day 6

However, my macros have changed a lot. I was searching for any potential ways to improve my weight loss, and I came up on the topic of, “Ectomorph vs. Mesomorph vs. Endomorph.” I will go into further detail on each of these body types later but in general:

Ectomorph: Struggles to put on muscle mass, but has lower body fat percentage compared to the other 2

Mesomorph: Can put on muscle and lose weight at the same efficiency

Endomorph: Can put on muscle fast, but also gain more fat than the other body types.


I am an endomorph. With that body type, you want a lower carb intake but higher fat/protein intake for weight loss. Looking at my macros, the carbs were still high and the fats weren’t as high as they could be. So what I did was decrease my carbs by 20 and increased my fats by 3. The changes are visualized below

This week was also very interesting. On Sunday, I went to the Museum of Ice Cream in Los Angeles. Museum of Ice Cream | www.lifteatshred.com


It was ice cream exhibits and samples all over the place. There was even a pit full of sprinkles, which brought me back to my younger days at Chuck E. Cheese’s.

Soylent | www.lifteatshred.comThey also gave us an all in one drink called Soylent. Not sure if any of you guys have heard of it before. But it has a good amount of carbs, proteins and fat. I am going to try it out later this week and let you guys know my thoughts on it.

Other than that, I am feeling good on the positive results. I will continue to stay committed to the plan and strive for results.
