Good evening, ladies and gent! Welcome back to week 6 of my weight loss journal. And if this is your first time, thanks for checking out my weight loss entry. In a short recap of Week 5, I had lost 1 lb going from 211.8 to 210.8. I was accustomed to losing 2 lbs a week, so my antennas are definitely up, worried about reaching a potential plateau.
Well as of this week, I did continue my positive progression. I went from 210.8 to 210, which is a 0.8 lb loss.
Now don’t take it the wrong way, I love that I am losing weight. It’s just that, I really hate plateaus haha. If you are lucky, it could only last a week or two. However, if you are not, it could go on for at least a month, which I most certainly don’t want. The weight loss is great, but I am going to strive for at least 1.5lbs/week.
However, I did make a change to my macros. Last week, I mentioned that I would consider reducing my carbs to jump my weight loss efforts. So I decided to decrease my carbs by 20, to 200. My new macros are as follows:
I decreased my carbs, last Thursday. I will give me body time to adjust before I change anything else. You always want to give your body some time after each change. If you keep jumping in and out of things, your body will be uneven and your weight will be all over the place!
